2D to 3D Conversion
Do you find that your product manufacture is based on information that is retained in your employees heads or designs have been developed and drawings annotated but not updated. With the continued development of technologies and the introduction of Computer Numeric Control (CNC) there is often a requirement to input 3D data. We are able to transfer any 2D drawing whether it be a formal technical drawing, or an annotated hand drawn sketch we are able to convert this into a 3D model.
Sheet Metal Design
Products made from Sheet Metal can require more thought in the initial design stage to ensure that the parts can be formed and assembled correctly. We have extensive knowledge of different ways to achieve your required outcome and can utilise this to advise on the best way in which your design can come to life. Finally we can also provide 2D or 3D profiles that can be imported directly into CNC Laser Cutting Machines or CNC Forming Machines, or detailed assembly drawings showing all weld information using notations inline with the EN ISO 2553:2013.

DriveWorks is a highly customisable and extremely powerful set of tools that allows you to accurately configure custom products without any engineering input and automatically create associated documents and data for sales and manufacture of the products. Other automation tools such as equations do cause huge issues with integrating. We can assist and advise with the update of any existing SOLIDWORKS models ensuring that they are suitable for integration into DriveWorks. This can also include the creation of models from scratch.
